I wish the dash was in mph so I was not having to multiply by .62 in my head all the time while also watching the video, especially when my 8 year old asks, how fast is he going now, Dad?

Blame the United Kingdom for scamming you guys for using that system while 99% of the world uses km/hI wish the dash was in mph so I was not having to multiply by .62 in my head all the time while also watching the video, especially when my 8 year old asks, how fast is he going now, Dad?
And yet even then still short of a mile by inchesBlame the United Kingdom for scamming you guys for using that system while 99% of the world uses km/h![]()
This country was a part of the United Kingdom until we rebelled, actually opening fire when General Gage decided to seize weapons (we still do not like gun control to this day). Interestingly, we were very close to adopting the same system as the European countries, early in the history of our country. There are some strange historical reasons for why that did not happen. The Founding generation of this nation was very interested in science, all things new, and in particular the emerging metric system. Jefferson was very interested in the new French system, but both Jefferson and France passed on it at the time.Blame the United Kingdom for scamming you guys for using that system while 99% of the world uses km/h![]()
I never had miles per hour at school, but I've learned it by watching video's and my many visits to the USA doing roadtrips. This country was a part of the United Kingdom until we rebelled, actually opening fire when General Gage decided to seize weapons (we still do not like gun control to this day). France ended up adopting it five years later, but the US did not.
I saw an argument in a history book that a shipwreck had a lot to do with the US passing on it, as sample metric standards were lost.
You don't have to calculate it like you said. After a while you just know it. Calculating is only the first few times to get accustomed.
We are educated in both in school and we actually use both in day to day life, in food, medicine, science, and shooting sports, but for travel and speedometers, we use miles and miles per hour.
Even having lived in Germany for two years, I still think of speed in miles per hour and have to convert.
I know I saw 249km/h which is 154.72143 mph! He's got bigger balls than me! A straight line is one thing but on the track? Ofcourse the Dark Horse is good. I know he is a good driver. However where are your helmet's? You put on gloves but figure your head is bulletproof? Just dangerous.
Even Misha was super suprised that his Dark Horse was insane fast on the ring today.
I never have seen a Dark Horse destroy the track like he did in thos video.
Craaaaaaazyyyyyy!!!
With the money he has spent on the car you would think he has enough left over for helmets. And what's with the track allowing that? GlennOfcourse the Dark Horse is good. I know he is a good driver. One system results in a single ‘base’ a variety of which expands potential. The U.S. was all set to adopt the metric system when I was a kid and for political reasons I think, the country took a pass on it. HUGE mistake IMO. All one has to do is understand the number "10" and that covers most of the metric system.
Notice that gal's hair fly around ot the Ring in the video. Funny. Yes, on the helmets.
Not mandatory.Ofcourse the Dark Horse is good. I know he is a good driver. However where are your helmet's? You put on gloves but figure your head is bulletproof? Just dangerous.
Helmets are not allowed on tourist driving days, nor are Hanns devices. It's for the general public to drive as fast as they like. it's also classed as a public road. When it's a track day or race day, there's different rules.Ofcourse the Dark Horse is good. I know he is a good driver. However where are your helmet's?
