That’s the same thing Ford charges for the Mustang, plus an additional $695 acquisition fee.
It isn't what I paid, not by a long shot.

Does that include a lifetime battery supplement?

Can't say I'll be surprised if it turns out Big Bucks Dudes offer dealers over MSRP to score one; sit on it for how ever long then tack their own mark up on it.

It’s not about what you paid, it’s about what the manufacturer charges.
We aren't on the same page. When I buy a car, I don't even acknowledge MSRP. Once you do that, you just lost some negotiating power. It is about what I pay for the car. A manufacturer can "charge" anything they want. I only pay what I want or walk.

I won't ever be buying another GM product so it's a moot point anyway.

So where do you apply to be able to buy one and how long until they let you know you've been chosen?
Exactly. Some car manufacturers, for some cars, make you sign things to the effect that you will keep the car for a period of time and you will not be marking up what you paid for it anytime soon then selling it quick, to keep the speculators out. Jay Leno gets what he wants because he is Jay Leno.

Unless there is a written rule againest ADM's set in stone by GM, Chevy dealers can do whatever they want.

Doesn’t matter, if they don’t want me to have the car who am i to argue.

I can't envision me arguing with anyone about me having a material thing that they have. Again, it's a moot point for me because GM and I will never do business again.
