Problem with the convertible is you aren't allowed to run it on a track so what's the point really? Spend all that money on extra power just to lose your drivers license faster? How often and in what context would you actually use it?
I have no intention of loosing my DL or going to a track. Just like the power there when I hit the peddle on the right. Same with my 70 GTO. Has a built 428. I should be satisfied with her output but I have aluminum heads on order. For some of us, being satisfied = being bored... 🍻

I have a 20 GT Convertible and install a stage 2 whipple. I am all for it. It sounds awesome, especially with the top down. The best thing is that since its a convertible other drivers underestimate it but after they just look at my rear, I am able to waive goodbye to them lol,

I had the Whipple Stage 2 installed by Evolution Perfomance about 2 months ago. They also changed the exhaust, tires, rims and few other things. I do not have pics of the motor right now but will take some tonight and give you more info as to what was done. I have had no issue except the fact that I do not want to get out of the car. It is over 800 HP of fun and well with it if you have the money set aside for it. Call Fred Cook at EP. He is a genius.

I had rims, tires and RTR also done at the same time. The whipple part plus other upgrades for it came to about 20-25k. You can call Fred Cook who is the owner and tell him you met me. He is flexible and works with you. I went all out but he can customize a package for you. If you want more info, email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to help you

All this money to go fast. Yes with a Whipple you'll need a extra 10 to 15+ grand. Could bring you up to 100K. Right where the CT5 V Blackwing starts. Forget the Whipple, it does not produce 810 Hp. They tell you that to reel you in. Don't beat the pony to death, it has plenty power especially on a convertible. You really need an SC go with Procharger HO. It produces less stress on your entire vehicle, and drives normal around town. Helical cut gears quiets the nuts and bolts in a can sound. Just build it to be reliable along with a little extra power. A CAI! Unless you've up around 1000 Hp you're throwing money out the window. You have a double throttle body and alone it breathes better. Good luck.

Which black did you choose to match? They recommend ordering it painted, but I would likely also choose a gloss black to match the front grill and hood vent.
Because of this thread, I just ordered a DAR for ours. Thank you all for helping me spending our money.... LOL

No Problem lol you only live once. I choose the carbon fiber and am looking to replace the front RTR spoiler with a carbon fiber but am having a tough time finding a nice one. Anyone have any ideas.?
