The auto is pretty good, it has a lot more "mush" on take off compared to a DCT. But once moving it's fine, and track mode seems to read your mind. Very clever.
If I did buy another, it'd be a Dark Horse, but there'd be sleepless nights over the 10 speed or Tremec.

I owned a 2014 GT with a manual and I have a 24 GT/CS vert with the manual today. They are night and day different to drive. The current manual they’re using is so simple to drive and at no point have I regretted it.

I commute about 26 miles per day in heavy traffic. Having the automatic cruise control combined with rev matching has made dealing with stop and go traffic far less bothersome.

I bought the car to cruise in. I don’t care about winning drag races or going to the track. It’s a fun car and has given me no trouble in the first couple months since I bought it. But I bought it for $53k brand new back in June. I would definitely recommend you ditch your dealer and shop around. Their are still great deals to be had on new manual GT Convertibles.

If you want to have fun and don't mind wasting gas, and losing races, get the Row-Boat. I know not all of us race. That A10 will win, and make your driving comfortable.

Sounds like an argument to get an EV?

use less gas- check
win more drag races - check
makes driving comfortable - check

That's true. Later cars MT-82s are much better. MGW kit makes them even better.

You overlooked gas. Does Mach E fall into the S650 category? A10s are superior in all ways. Fun, WOT is more fun in a A10. Or you miss a shift and ask if you could start over. Having an outdated tranny won't get one a handicap.

When I mash the pedal I get no mush with my 3.55. takes off like a jet.

My question is.. are you satisfied with the 10 speed auto trans performance or are you aching for a 6-speed? Want to know how stick shift drivers experience driving with the automatic.

Here is the car I am waiting for..

Here's my simple take... Will this be your only car? If yes, then the A10 will probably be easier to live with day-today, especially if commutes are in heavy traffic. That said, an M6 is far more engaging.

I have a tuned F-150 to satisfy my automatic desires. My '09 Bullitt and '24 Dark Horse are both manual and they satisfy everything else. I wouldn't have it any other way.

That's understandable. Its one of the few V8s left that are available in manual.
I think that the Mustang is the ONLY 2-door car available currently with a V-8 and a manual. In the world.

And the only other V8 available with a manual is the Cadillac CT5-V.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I ordered a GT Premium Convertible, 6-speed, PP and Magnaride in May. I sat in front of the salesman at the dealership. The salesman and I reviewed the computer screen together selecting the colors and options I wanted. I walked away with a copy of the order and a receipt for my deposit.

Next day I got the first ‘Ford’ email acknowledging the order for the car, that emails would follow as the order progressed. To my surprise later that day the salesman whom I met and ordered the car with called and said he cancelled the order. The order was done under the wrong dealership. It took him 4 orders to get the options correctly. Ford sent emails for 2 of the 3. The 3rd one was right..

The car being built does not have a 6-speed, it's an automatic. It’s one of the orders the salesman got wrong..

It’s in production this week and will likely be shipped soon. I told him I wanted first dibs on the car with employee pricing that lowers the MSRP nearly 6k. If I order a 26 like I want it will run about 70 or so..

My question is.. are you satisfied with the 10 speed auto trans performance or are you aching for a 6-speed? Want to know how stick shift drivers experience driving with the automatic.

Well I have a Dark horse with the Tremec and love it. As for which is better that's up to you. I find automatics are fine for daily stuff. However I like to go out after dinner and drive my car shifting gears is how to drive. If you want straight line driving get the auto.

Well Mazda, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, and Subaru all make two door manuals, as well as exotics like Porche, Lotus, and Astin Martin. But yes, I believe the Blackwing is the only American V8 manual left now that the Camaro is gone.

CT5 V
Blackwing. The only 6 speed V8 4 doored, SCd American luxury car in its class. I'd like to have one. But have enough cars that require a garage.

I said 2-door V8s w/ manual. Mustang is the only one.

"the Blackwing is the only American V8 manual left now that the Camaro is gone."

Reading is hard I guess.
