Been trying to spruce up my Mustang with practical stuff lately, but I need your recs!
What accessories have you bought that *actually* get used every day? The ones you can’t imagine driving without now?
Whether it’s a dash organizer, trunk mat, phone mount, or something else—spill the details! I’m here to take notes. Let’s help each other make our Mustang even better.

It might not be aesthetically pleasing, anyway I will probably put a dash mat to protect the hard plastic from sun.

Dash cam.
Too many f--ing idiots on the road not to be the first thing you do.
Any other accessory pales into insignificance if you get run into by somebody else.

My previous vehicle was written off by a drugo who decamped the scene without handing over their details. (Funny that they didn't want to hang around for the Police either!)
So it became a hit-run.

Cops eventually caught up with them, along with my insurance company, but do yourself a favor and avoid any drama. Then you can think about the toys.

Good idea! The sun damage struggle is real.

Sunshade…Amazon has ones just as good as the Ford one but 1/2 the price.

Trunk mat. it’s nice because stuff doesn’t slide around on the rubber mat.

Subwoofer replacement. Pioneer 10” most popular.

Tower strut. Got the Ford Performance. Looks good and car handles better.

I love my rear louvers. Looks good and keeps the interior cooler. Does not hurt visibility one bit.

Radar detector. My car doesn't move without it being on.

BTW, the locals (two towns) and the Sheriff have a speeding blitz going on until August 12. My detector was going off so much I looked it up and sure enough. I think cell phones are a bigger problem.

Did the STB come with a K brace?

Yes, apparently because it came with 20” wheels. I don’t have the PP, but it is a Gt Premium. Unfortunately when I ordered the Ford tower brace, it comes with the cowl brace, so I just stored it away.

I would install the k brace. It will help. I bought one because I had planned on purchasing a regular GT for commute and put the SBT on. E thing arrived and I didn't know what a K brace was. I ended up getting a GT Premium PP and sold the sbt and k brace.

I think we misunderstood each other’s post.…lol.

My GT has 20” wheels which means it came with the metal cowl (K) brace already installed from the factory. All I had left to install was the tower strut brace.
