HPTuners just confirmed that MG1CS036 is the correct hardware type for us.

They've escalated me directly to engineering team...

So as of last night, 5.1.4648 allowed me to finally read my stock PCM after 17 minutes of chugging, and this morning, 5.1.4650 pulled the stock tune in a snappy 4 or 5 minutes. That's the good news.

Bad news is I am failing the checksum, and the file cannot be analyzed or edited as of yet. HPTuners has been awesome and responsive, and assures me there's engineers taking a look as I keep submitting tickets.

Maybe by tonight or tomorrow! As others have pointed out, better to get it right than quick...

Happy for you dude. NGL, I'm getting a little frustrated... SR3A-14C204-AEC still not passing checksum as of 5.1.4665... Really hoping I get unlocked today finally.

To determine the 5-digit product code for the

APIM software on the vehicle, while the vehicle center display screen is powered up with ignition in run or accessory, go to Settings > General > About SYNC. Find the 5-digit code (example: “SYNC 4, Software Version: 23187_PRODUCT”).

I almost wonder if somehow you got locked, any pending updates and or are you able to receive regular ota programming? As in has it received any ota updates, granted still new and shouldn’t have alot pending.

Well.. maybe. HPTuners says their engineer hasn't gotten to me yet. I avoided the update like avoiding Android updates that might shut out a root exploit.

Any reason to think the update itself is the causal factor I'm failing checksum and not just waiting in the HPTuners engineer's queue?
