Haha. I'd never take it in. I do almost all my vehicle stuff on my own, it's not that wrapping would be hard, I'm just not experienced with it. Looking back on it, I found out I did literally one of the most difficult jobs with one of the most difficult wraps. It held up for 3 years before I sold the truck so I know I did something right.

As for the rims and stuff, they're definitely on the chopping block. But right now I'm doing stuff that I can generally get the materials for free.
I seen some kids doing one in a hideous green 🍏. I seen the car the next day and it had bubbles all over. Probably got the film free, or at a flea market. I'd like to get mine in Dark Highland Green like the Bullitt. Maybe cut a shamrock out of metal, green powder coat, and mount it to the grill.

I decided to take the wheels off and clean them, plus the calipers and the wheels wells.
Had to go to Supercheap Parts first because Ford, in their wisdom, uses 21 mm wheel nuts, and I didn't have a socket.
Then discovered that 204 nm torque is a lot. Especially repeated 20 times.
Like Fraulein Fitzshnizandteit.
Ford do spray a lot of crap under these cars. Everything's coated in black sticky stuff
Still got it all done. OCD is back to a simmer. All's well.

Bought it yesterday (2nd S650). Did rear seat delete, billet clutch pedal extension (had to modify pedal-larger than S550) today. Plenty of goodies incoming. Plans are to hit the 1/8 & 1/4 tracks w/friends and family.

Just threw on the J&L Oil separator @ 138 miles. I have a H-pipe in the garage but holding off in case I make a mistake and do a blower/long tube combo instead of twins. Long tubes and resonator delete is too loud IMO.

Well damn, I really didn't want to black out my roof with the heat and all, but this is really making me want to. I got the cheapest ecoboost on the lot and she just feels rather vanilla.
Not trying to be rude. But the cheapest ecoboost. Is the closest to Vanilla you can get.

Had it in to get the brakes inspected and do a flush and fill on the brake fluid. Front brakes were fine, rear were less than 50% pad so I had them replaced so that the car is ready for the track.

I'm supposed to be at Gingerman next month for the Mohawk Track Experience but going to miss the first day now.

Monday I am getting a cochlear implant done on my left ear, and activation day is August 12 so I have to miss that day at Mohawk. Will drive over with my new "bionic" ear with direct injection. Hopefully I am able to put my helmet on so I can go on track on August 13! The incision and implant site could be swollen still and may make it difficult even if I take the outside processor off.
