New price list for April onwards on the Ford website

Apparently my DH has been built.
All things equal maybe mid July here ?
I assume not easy or even possible to track its journey ?

All you can do is get your dealer to check on Vista from time to time to see where it is and then guestimate the ship it may be on. Sometimes Ford live chat can give you an update depending on who you get to talk to. It always used to take about 3 months from build to dealer for the S550 but there were a lot of delays last summer for the S650. I assume it is now up to speed again, assuming tariff shenanigans don't interfere.

Ford would do well to convince its credit arm to slash rates for finance on the Mustang. It's not a cheap car and if they could make finance work at 5% instead of over 10%, I'm sure they'd move a few more.

Looks like Ford UK were listening. Official PCP and HP rates are now 4.9% APR on the Mustang.

There are no factory orders - only pre-spec cars. However most combinations of spec and options are available. Still plenty of 2024.5 cars coming through

According to the window sticker it’s a 25.
According to the Dealer and the dates shown it’s also a Factory Order - my original cancellation of the previously specced DH was also delivered and sold some time ago.
Hopefully pick up next week.

Just going through my to do list so happy to get any views.

As far as the chassis sill "holes " are concerned whilst the opening was there in the bottom of the wheel arch it looks and feels as though there was then metal in the way of anything getting past so no need to do anything ? Dealer confirmed the underseal is there otherwise underneath though.

I got a quote from him to find a spare wheel and tyre but it was coming in at well over the £1k - Am I right this can be sourced independently from the US or are people not bothering ?

Service plan at £ 472 for 2 years and £ 672 for 3 years seems relatively good value ?

There are patches for the holes - the best seem to be from a German which just bolt in place but if it is a 2025 car it may already have the upgraded wheel arch liners. I sprayed inside the holes of mine with underseal spray and there has been no damage at all. The only really 'at risk' part is the leading edge of the chassis rail.

Mustang S650 Wheel Well Issue: Fix In a Minute

For a spare wheel you need the S650 wheel kit (the S550 one will work with a 25mm spacer if you can't find it)

2007-2025 Ford Mustang Performance Package Spare Wheel and Tire Kit – Automotive Authority

Make sure you select 2024/2025. Much less than £1k but will need shipping to the UK. Nemesis distributed the S550 wheel so may be worth checking with them as well. AA are quick to respond to questions.

Both spare wheel providers are showing as out of stock which with the extra tariff issues is perhaps unsurprising. AA site says they won’t ship to the UK whereas Nemisis are quoting about the same price again it have shipped but oos.
I’m happy to leave for now-none of my other cars have spares anyway !

I would email AA, they reply very quickly and can probably tell you the latest info on supply.

The German part looks very easy to fit - slot in and tighten one bolt. I'm not sure it is worth it though as long as you apply some underseal to the exposed metal.

AA do ship to the UK but it doesn't say so on the website. Email them as they have to manually setup the shipping and you get to pick your carrier off choice.

How many left has now been updated to the end of Q4'24
The dark horse is the easiest to pick out
33 manuals registered (4 of which were in Q3, my car is 1 of those 4!) 2 of which are currently sorn (so registered but probably not sold)
46 registrations auto's (6 in Q3) of which 1 is sorn and 43 are on the road (2 are missing)

GT's there was 70 manual registrations but we picked up before some of these were Mk6's my model year only 46 (incl 1 sorn) are '24, auto's 57 with 2024 model year.

So adding it up 182, 2024 model year mustangs were registered with the dvla, some will be american imports. (There are some cars listed as Mustang Auto, without any GT/DH). how many of these were sold and how many are sat on dealer forecourts is difficult to tell as some dealers will register them some wont.

Autotrader gives a clue here as unregistered cars are usually classified as 'new' and registered / demo cars are second hand.

182, plus maybe the same again since then, so no wonder you don't see many on the road. There are about 10k Mustangs on the road in the UK in total so you are looking for 2% of those!

Still an awful lot of 2024.5 cars on the Ford website (80 or so) which are a week away from delivery so probably sitting in the UK somewhere. These cars are about 9 months old now! And yet some 2025 cars have been imported and sold.
