Don't get me wrong. I like your attitude , but you will only get away with those replies in your part of the country. Unless you're former "SEAL or Special forces BAD ASS " " , in Texas , you might very well find out what it feels like to be pulled thru the open door glass .. Easy , just jerking your chain !! junqdawgWhenever I get pulled over and they ask me...Do you know why I pulled you over...I either respond: Because I let you, or Did you forget already?
How do they know if I was or wasn't a former operator? I didn't tell them that.Don't get me wrong. I like your attitude , but you will only get away with those replies in your part of the country. MR FROGDOG. You and I seem to own a couple of the prettiest Mustangs !! I just love it when a photo shows how great that "RED" pops . I detest it when you park and the SUN is glaring down to make it appear a crappy shade of "ORANGE "junqdawg . Lost a girlfriend arguing over that once . Sun was bright , SHE said it's orange fool !! I replied , "Whatever , with you , only color I care about is the "FOLD-DOWN back seat {BLACK} CIRCA 1966 GT FASTBACK 271 REAL HORSES AND 4 Sp trans. If you mean street racing.....only idiots.
Most of them have it on their license plate or back window. How do they know if I was or wasn't a former operator? I didn't tell them that.
I'm not so sure about that. The ones I may or may not have worked with don't usually advertise that information. They usually tend to want to blend in. They are also aware that whether they are a highly skilled badass or not, that resisting an officer trying to detain them is only going to escalate the amount of force from the officer and make the situation harder than it needs to be. They are, after all, quiet professionals and not obnoxious glory-seekers.Most of them have it on their license plate or back window.
HAAAAAThat's when I'd like to be a spectator !!. You got a few mustangs under your belt, Which was your favorite. ? Oh by the way I lost count but I probably owned a "Couple Hundred" Mustangs. But Gotta admit I owned a Auto Wrecking Yard for 32 yrs. . My favorite {non-wrecked} was the 66 Red GT F/BACK 271hp 4sp. Gave the 396ss Stock Malibu's all they wanted . I took a few down but mostly it was other way around ."BUT " they certainly didn't have anything to brag about !How do they know if I was or wasn't a former operator? I didn't tell them that.
I totally agree with you sir . I meant nothing serious, You are correct , they don't advertise those facts cuz they don't need to... Got one in my family from 'ol days , just to meet him , you'd think he was a HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY TEACHER .." A VERY VERY "IN SHAPE " one ! GOD BLESS 'EM ALL .junqdawgI'm not so sure about that. My favorite was my 67 with the 289 Hi-Po. It was an automatic, but was still fun as hell to sling around corners. That one was also red.HAAAAAThat's when I'd like to be a spectator !!. That's exactly why people say things like all cops are bad. My experience is usually a respectful trooper will smile at a LADY and take HER information, and explain to HER what the issue is.Don't get me wrong. In my experience, in general, most cops are like that, with both women and men. A lot of them appreciate the banter and breaking the ice with something witty helps ease the tension we both feel. That's exactly why people say things like all cops are bad. Two things: Red cars are much faster of course, and, like the daughter says, "It's all about looking good"", and she does.MR FROGDOG. You and I seem to own a couple of the prettiest Mustangs !! never saw her in that back seat again ...HMMMMMM ???
Sort of like my Cousin. He just got off work and was going to visit his sister. Some young fool pulls up an a POJ GT and challenges him to a race . Cousin puts his arm out and say "After you." Cousin thought the kids eyes were going to pop out when he seen his Sergeants Stripes along with Dept. Shield. Cousin would've smoked him with his SCd Mach 1.In my experience, in general, most cops are like that, with both women and men.
