it would be amazing if that is the only issue. I would imagine that the dealer would try this option…but then again I’m not hopeful. The car has been there for many months and I doubt it will ever get resolved. I don’t believe that they think it’s a big deal, but to me, it’s a huge deal.This appears to me like a dynamic balance issue. It may not be applicable to every dealer, but few lube and tire men know how to use a tire balancer correctly. It sort of reminds me of the old JC Whitney level style balancer. Fine for static, darn poor for dynamic balance! Heck, even the local Discount tire gets it wrong sometimes, and they of all people should know what's up.
About 5 years ago, the same Discount Tire Store remounted another brand new tire because they couldn't dynamically balance the first one. Lousy deal, but it does happen all too often.
One more thing. If you catch any tire man pouring glass beads into a tire, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!
