All tires were balanced multiple times. Roadforce was checked but was found to be near or at limit. Dealer said the vibration was normal, I wouldnt except that answer. We finally had all four tires replaced, that fixed our vibration around 70MPH.
Our dealership swapped our performance pack 19" wheels with a set of 20" wheels off of a new 2024 Mustang from their sales lot (for diagnostic purposes only, the 20" wheels are not staying on the vehicle). The oscillating vibration appeared to have been eliminated when I drove the vehicle at...
To be determined. I have another visit scheduled. I will update as I get more info. I do have a live, recorded, graph from a NVH sensor and software (pico scope) that directly relates the front and rear tire speeds to the oscillating vibration intensity. The g force sensor was mounted to the...
I'm thinking it might be a wheel and or tire issue with the performance pack wheels and pirelli tires. I also had a driveshaft replaced but I still has a vibration. Old school1, what is NPP? PP=performance pack, AE=active exhaust, NPP=?. Love the feed back. I'm thinking it would be worth...
I had the driveshaft replaced at my local dealer under warranty. Vibration has improved but has not been eliminated. Will revisit the dealership soon for further repairs.
NVH Pico scope results were indicating an out of balance propeller shaft and front and rear tire vibrations (most intense frequencies matched the rotational speeds of these components). Do you have any updates on your vibration concern?
Thank you for the reply. If the dealership has a NVH Pico Scope I would suggest that they use it. It can narrow down vibration frequencies to the various rotating assemblies in the vehicle. It connects to the OBD II port and requires vehicle info such as engine type, axle ratio and tire sizes. I...
Do you have a resolution to the vibration yet? I also have a 24 GT convertible, performance pack, magnaride, active exhaust and about 7k miles. The vibration has been there since purchased as a new car. My vehicle also has an oscillating (roughly 5 second cycle) vibration at 70. The vibration is...
