Bumping this instead of starting a new thread. Curious how anyone else’s system sounds. Mine does the whoosh but also whistles under throttle. The whistle sounds like a turbo spooling up.

No CEL and I re-tightened everything a second time. I don’t mind the whistle , but it’s different from all the other clips I’ve watched.

Otherwise, temps are at ambient on the highway, higher in traffic. Just want the additional airflow when tunes become available. Not worried about filtration quality. Have run K&N and other CAI systems on all my other cars. I change the oil every 4-5k, so I’m not worried nor have I ever been.

Mine sounds great but I’ve been pretty vocal about how the passenger side tube doesn’t fit the way it should for the cost. No one from K&N has even responded. I’m having buyers remorse.

I'm about to order mine. I'm just waiting for the radar detector refund to leave its "pending status' on my card. About the noise-everything I've watched on YouTube says the sound is better than stock, which has the closed boxes. The sound of rushing air is louder and supposedly improves the overall sound of the car. I'm not sure if this is so, but anything to help the engine breath cooler air better is a win for me. It looks much better than stock IMO.
