How many days does it take to build?

Mine updated sometime within the last 24 hours while I was out of town.

Oddly enough the ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE updated on the 20th HOWEVER the Last Updated still reads the 17th!!

My Sales Rep said she should be coming in on the 5th and so I've made an appointment for the 9th for the PPF, Tint and roof wrap and then a week later for full ceramic coating (once they are sure the PPF has set properly).

Woot... it seems real. congrats!
Mine will also arrive same week according to tracker. (fingers crossed)
Where do you plan to have Ceramic Coating? any suggestions?

I'm going to Tint World in Mississuaga. They did an amazing job on my S550 (see pics here: Roush Powered 2021 Mustang GT "Ella" - My Build) so I figured why not give them a shot. I did reach out to another company called SRS for a quote but they couldn't even be bothered to respond so f'em

Doug at Tint World Mississauga seems quite knowledgeable and has owned a Mustang in the past. He was the one who told me three nuggets I wasn't aware of previously.

NUGGET #1: "We usually do PPF, make sure it sits right, and then a week later do full ceramic. If we do ceramic first the PPF won't set right".

NUGGET #2: The TINT laws in Ontario changed in February. You aren't technically supposed to have tint on the front side windows anymore but most police will ignore it AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT GO TOO DARK.

NUGGET #3: You can't certifiy/safety a car with tint below 30%. So if you ever plan to resell you would have to rip off 20-25% tint in order to safety it.

Interesting, my last "updated" date was yesterday, didn't change to "Delivered" but it's being detailed at the dealership.

I run into this in my day job all the time.

This is what happens when companies buy products and bolt them into their ecosystem as an add-on rather than creating a ground up holistic system.

Example:

ORDER STATUS sends an API call to one system
SHIPPING STATUS sends an API call to another system
DELIVERY ETA/STATUS sends an API call to a third system

However, if all of the calls aren't run all the time then some, or several, of the metrics / results will be out of date or missing relevent info.

The portal itself (the user interface) looks all blue and Ford-y however the systems that are below the surface may (speculation) all be disparate and connected to different sub systems.

Check the below link and search for your dealer with a keyword (e.g. Markville)

If your dealer is found, then you can see deliveries in a given time frame.
Also there is a section in same web site where you can make search with your VIN.

All of us waiting for our Stangs are extremely excited those days, so it might be helpful to answer questions when, where, who....

Yorkdale is there yeah however the max date I could go to was Aug 28th. Also, the last update for Yorkdale was 2021? So they may be using someone else?

ok last night the tracker said nothing but built not shipped so this morning I get a call from dealer he says the car just rolled in from the trucking company. I was still half asleep said OK then hung up 5 min later I realized what I had just heard!!!What it's here???? So, I just looked at the tracker It now shows shipped and delivered. Last I knew it was still at ford plant in Michigan and had 2 more weeks till being shipped from Ford Chat. Damn I'm so excited, now to go and drain my bank account, and drive an awesome car!!
