So I I have the Dark Horse handling package and I have to be honest. With the road conditions in the towns in Ontario, Canada, having these wide tires can sure be an adventure. It is pulled all over the place with every groove. So long story short, I caught a groove and went into the side of a curb and caused a scrape on my rim. It's bad, but not bad enough I can't make them look good.

Anyone have any ideas what is a good automotive paint match? I have a couple of GM cans and can get others at a local Canadian Tire or Auto parts store but wonder if anyone else has had to do this yet.

Of course I'll likely end up buying a few until I can mix and match to a nice blend.

Thanks,

Thanks,
call a wheel repair shop. They'll be able to remove the gouges and should be to match the paint like nothing ever happened.

unless you know some really good touch-up guys, you're not going to get it exactly right. Ford has no touch up paint for that color, which is Dark Tarnished

$3000 CAD for a front and rear rim. Look out for those curbs.

I totally blame the wide tires and road conditions. OK maybe I was talking on the phone but it was hands free. LOL

And I am fine with a close enough color match as it did sand down pretty smooth. I'll see if GM has any Dark Tarnished colors to match.

Knowing me it won't be the last time so replacing them for 3k isn't worth it.

I will definitely look into some rim repair shops.

Thanks everyone!!!!!
