true but at the same time, it makes absolutely 0 sense to hold an event to talk about a car you already gave every detail about and had the website setup for months ago.

I don't think the email thing is about an event. It just says details and is just something they sent out to owners as a kind of hey we are launching this now.

I will say I like the 60th anniversary s650 more than the 50th anniversary s550. I adored the louvered side glass on the s550, but everything else about it looked kinda tacky compared to this.

Ford is killing my sanity with all of these special edition teasers of a new s650 using covered images of cars that very clearly aren't s650s . It's such a small detail, but it's driving me nuts. The green image clearly isn't a production design, and this teaser image looks more like a mustang sedan with its shorter hood and more upright greenhouse, yet it's apparently just a new s650 gt spec.

You're killing me Ford. My brain gets all excited like "Oh, is this a new mustang body style?" and then you reveal like a bronze wheel package. If you're teasing new s650 variants, please just take a picture of an s650 .

This looks to be an actual 60th AE gt like the 50th AE LE.. back in 2014, there was a 50th appearance pkg and an actual 50th LE which had things such as serialized numbers up to 1964, special wheels, louvered quarter windows, special seats, a unique vin that ended with the chassis #.

The package is $3,995, only available in Vapor Blue, Race Red for an extra $295 and Wimbledon White for an extra $995.

I love the Wimbledon White and one of the best looking retro takes wheels I've seen in a while.

If I was ordering a convertible this year, I'd be tempted, I like the look of the wheels. Vapor Blue, space gray interior, 60th anniversary package, throw on some Brembo brakes and the active valve exhaust.

For a coupe, it seems like a rough deal, the GT Performance Package is cheaper, and unlike the convertible, you get a lot more benefit (sway bars, front bracing, suspension, dark horse spoiler)

As a daily in LA traffic no thanks. Plus the Gt performance pack is 1,300 more.
