I am having issues with the plastic trim skuffing up. Looks terrible, any one else?
3000 miles and wife the only one sitting in that seat.

Investigate what specifically is causing all the scratches....that's not normal. Then you can plan a remedy....
Once remedy is in place, there are products that can mask the scratches pretty good, not eliminate but hide very well.

I am sure it’s her purse but I do not remember having this issue on 2017

May indicate a slight more amount of free space is advisable. Hopefully nothing too deep. Not sure, but I’d probably be tempted to see if mother has anything that may help protect.

Seems like interior pieces scuff easily. Same with the drivers kick panel. Have you tried cleaning solutions? Chemical guys interior cleaner and windex have worked well for me.

Remove it and cover it with leather or vinyl that matches the dashboard.

Same problem AND scenario lmao a little bit of liquid wax tends to cure the issue other than kicking the passenger out...

My wife had some giant purse with some sort of vinyl piping at the seams. She'd leave stripes on my car door and had no idea she was doing it . I've also seen her carrying garden shears like a kid would carry a sparkler on the 4th of July...waving it around within inches of every car in the garage.

Wife purse marks , My favorite. .. Is the seat all the way back ? That seems to help save my glove boxes from the wife's purse buckles.

You certainly can't ask her to be more careful ,as I won't make that mistake ever again and will never suggest it to another man who values their hearing.. ..

Unfortunately Ford uses the cheapest plastics in the automotive world. Your wife is putting her purse in front of her and just ripping it up. My wife was doing the same thing I warned her if she does it again its off to divorce court. You can alleviate some of it with a hair dryer to warm it up a tad, not to close but it can help it return a little. Also some armorall dressing will help cover itup.
