I have the 20" wheels on my 24 EcoBoost Premium and absolutely love them! Ride Quilty and looks are really good. I say go for it, you won't be disappointed at all.
Please cite an instance of Ford denying a claim for a factory defect regarding panel alignment on a new car…you know, what this thread is all about….
When you buy a new car there is a warranty regarding factory defects….panel gaps are clearly factory defects. There isn’t one instance you can cite where Ford refused to cover the panel gap issues.
dealers inspect a car when they receive it....if they miss all these issues, it should be on them to make it right. And they 100% make a warranty claim with Ford, they aren't paying out of pocket for it.
I test drove both cars and had cash for either a base GT or a premium EcoBoost. The GT was fast, no doubt about that but the premium interior on the EcBoost is hard to pass up!! And it's quick, fun to drive, and hugs the road like a mom dropping her kid off at college! Love this car!
I worked on helicopters, HH-60's and CV-22's, for over 20 years and guess what.....Not once did we have to change the oil after a break in run, lol! (Turbo shaft engines move a bit faster also) This is a waste of money, IMO, as the manufacture would require it if it was an issue. The metal...
if you buy a new car and have GEICO, they offer bumper to bumper extended warranties s for ~10 bucks a month, for 100k miles!!! its a very good deal, ive used it before. There is no intermediator, all you do is file a claim like you do for insurance and then they deal with the dealer. Very easy...
Greetings from SOMD!!!! I'll try to get out later and measure for you. The dealer installed the factory license plate holder (I asked them to) so I had holes when I swapped to this one. I did order some Bumper Plugs in the factory Dark Matter Grey paint and they actually look really good...
Ive had mine for about a month and haven't noticed a clearance issue at all. This, IMO, is the best looking front license plate bracket around, don't stress this one at all!!
Not bad at all!! Ive done a ton of digging this week and it looks like the main issue with these gaps is the headlight alignment. Ive got another appt at Ford soon for them to finally get it squared away.
Thats every domestic car right now. MyToyotas are holding value strong right now though, even made money when I traded my Tacoma in last month. Our Highlander has only dropped about 4k since we got it new in 2022.
