It's for my Bro, he's got a '17 V6 Coupe (Auto) he's done a little bit of mods to (BBK Shorty, GT Catback, 11-14 GT 80mm TB, KN Filter, Steeda Ultralite G-trac brace, diode sequencer and Axial Side/Rear marker LEDS). Beautiful in Ruby Red, but now it's time for an upgrade and its between a Bronco w/a 2.7 or a GT (Auto both)

Checked a few pages, didn't see what I was looking for to share, so aside from a test drive, what could you share with him to sell him, as he's found a few base models he likes. Be his summer/weekend in early spring/fall car. Also what should he consider doing mods wise as I'm just as inexperienced with GT's and what should be done with these according to you guys

Thanks in Advance

Depends on what your Bro is in the mood for and his amount willing to spend. Never priced, or looked at the Bronco’s for that matter, so I can’t speak to those but I did go from a S550 GT PP1 to an S650 PP and I love it!!! Didn’t order one as I should have but I got 7 of 10 boxes checked on my Preferred Spec. Have done minor things to it so far (Aftermarket Steeda Air Filters and Steeda X Pipe) and can’t wait to do more but the S650 is different in some areas imo. You will see a lot of things on here with members who are and some that aren’t having the best experience but that comes with any new vehicle. He should take a trip to a Ford Dealer and experience them both. Drive, Performance and feel will no doubt help his decision.

Happy Hunting to you and your Bro.

He's definitely wants a V8, he bulks at the thought of 4bangers, so definitely either or. I'll copy and send this if he doesn't just look.

Complaints on the _g sites aren't too concerning, everyone complains, its more is it "Harold bitching about this minor thing once again" or "The Clutch recall situation" (Where I say go Steeda)

Appreciate the feed back btw

Not sure Ford offers two more dissimilar vehicles.
I also asked on B6G, where I'm also active.

That aside, gotta figure he's going to go from a 305 hp* (Before mods) V6 w/a 6a and base 4in screen to a 480/86hop V8 with more tech and 4 additional gears, so that's gotta be a day and night difference

That it will be, a pleasurable experience should he go with the GT. I have, however, seen a few Bronco‘s on the road and I’m not mad at the way that people have hooked them up. Even made me do a double look at times. Keep us posted on his decisions.

17 GT to a Dark Horse the low beam head lights don't seem to shine down the road as far . Adjustment? 65 more horsepower, better traction win win

regardless of S550 or S650....going from the V6 to the GT is an automatic huge win ....no brainer here to make the move

Broncos are cool though too ........I really like them also

I went from a base model auto 15gt with basically no mods besides a nice cat back to a 401a premium 10 speed gt. Pretty nice upgrade in power and the leather and other creature comforts are a definite upgrade. I've already thrown a bunch of steeda parts at the new one. I have no complaints at all so far.

I had a 2022 Mach 1 and absolutely loved it. Traded for a Dark Horse and are having some minor issue but that's to be expected until Ford works out the kinks. I don't you can go wrong whichever way he goes.

If it's what you're craving, there's no substitute for an open-top vehicle.

If your bro is even remotely interested in taking the roof off a Bronco, they should test drive one with the roof and doors removed. If you want a pure V8 muscle car, obviously the Mustang GT Fastback is the play. But if you're craving the roar of wind, cruising around town top-down, that 4-banger does the job of moving the car, and you'll be smiling ear-to-ear.

Loved my S550 GT. Wasn't too keen on the IPad dash and the disproportionately thin headlights on the 2024 but kept an open mind. It is better in all respects. Not by a landslide, but certainly by a noticeable increment.

I have both a Bronco and switched from a 550 to a 650. They're just different experiences. My Bronco 2.7 it's a daily driver and is great for that. I love the fit/finish of the 650 over the 550. I wouldn't use either Mustang for a daily though.
