Respectfully disagree. You can drive a nicely appointed GT and get a great feel for a DH, but driving the top DH won't get you within miles of driving a GTD.It doesn't matter. It is preposterous to assume you'll know a car with a 10 minute drive around the block. Furthermore, today's GT's and Dark Horses are not your father's vehicles. $50K+ for ANY vehicle is steep.
These aren't used vehicles sitting on the corner of Guido's Auto Sales. These are new vehicles that come with factory warranties.
FWIW, people who can afford a GTD don't test drive them. They already know what they are getting.
