Hi guys new to this. Does or has anyone ever fitted a Switch to their mustang.. Like a secret switch that has to be on for the engine to start..like a split in the fuel pump feed.. all for security..

Welcome to the Forums. :fistbump:

I noticed from the title you reference a 2017 car. While you're Welcome here, this forum is primarily for "7G", the 7th Generation (2024+) of Mustang.

If you're looking for insight for a 2017, the 6G forum is available.

https://www.mustang6g.com

I've done some initial searches and can offer two threads, one with a working example.

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/made-my-own-push-start-ignition-kill-switch.188060/

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/fuel-pump-kill-switch.175812/

If you're already studying the topic, I'd review every aspect of security, if you've not already. Faraday pouches, locking wheel lugs, parking in a well-lit area, staying low-key (both physically and on social media), etc. Try to make yourself and the car as unnoticeable as possible.

Good Luck. :please:
