Grey, chrome, silver. Are we really going to discuss how it should be called?
You knew exactly what I ment when I said chrome. But now you are turning this discussion into the wrong chosen word to describe the color of the screw that doesn't match the black parts.
I also said pins instead of screws. When are you going to fight me for that?
I'm trying to use my best English to make myself understandable since English is my 4th language.

Also, what you are doing is not fair at all.

I described a few reasons why I don't like the ZL1 mud flaps.
You ignored all other reasons and cherry picked 1 of the reasons to make it look like that's the only reason why I dislike the ZL1 mud flaps over another one.

Don't be that guy man.
lol. Cherry picked? Haha. I saw your post on chrome and that’s it’s. Don’t get a big head like anyone cares about all your posts fella. Just cause you don’t know the difference isn’t my fault and when you complain about something you can’t even see with the wheels on it’s kinda hilarious. But like i said you do you.

There you go.
lol. You aren’t a bright one are you? I said that’s the only post i saw of yours that’s not cherry picking. Cherry picking is actually reading all your Crying and then picking which crybaby thing to call you on. So if you want me to continue to call out your crying I’ll do that. Let me know

Talking about being bright.

I didn't imply that you had to check other comments to cherry pick.

You literally quoted my reaction where I said that I don't like the ZL1 mud flaps because they stick out too much AND because of the chrome pins. You cherry picked information out of 1 comment and acted like the chrome pins was the only reason why I disliked the ZL1 mud flaps.

Nice try, but you failed again. And the way you communicate, I wish you a great evening.
High voltage for sure.

lol You clearly have no clue what cherry pick means. I picked out your complaint that was laughable. If you think they are too low ok. But crying about hardware you don’t see and that actually isn’t chrome is hilarious. You got asked about it and now you wanna cry because you couldn’t handle a question. Keep deflecting that you are upset about a little question.

Boy, boys, boys. We’re all just Mustang lovers sharing our thought, experiences, and preferences about our cars. No need to get personal. In the word of that great philosopher, Rodney King, why can’t we all just get along?
Beers on me.

That's my car and I really like the look and functionality.
So do I, and your thread also

p.s. in my last message on your thread, I asked a question. Would you have a look and see if you can help please?

Nice. Today I ordered the ones from Extreme Online Shop.
I'm really curious on how it will look on mine.
I looked at the ZL1 ones but I find the rear one sticking out from below too much.
Also the chrome pins are also something that stand out, that bothers me.
I wanted the smallest looking guards, but still effective enough to do the job.

I opted for the ones from Mike Savas on Facebook, which you can now get from here:
https://mustangrestyled.com/product...rocker-panel-protection-for-2024-s650-mustang

They are wider and sit a bit lower than ZL1. I had ZL1 previously, but was still getting rock chips as they just weren't quite wide enough to protect from these grippy wide tires. Plus they offer engraving options if that's something that you're into.

They don't have rear rock guards available just yet, but should be an option very soon.
I really like these. What did you do for the rears? A mismatch between the fronts and backs don’t look weird?

2. DH has moulded front wheel well trim. Can’t mount guards between it & fender due to the moulded lip on the trim. Was able to mount it over top of the trim. Seats pretty nicely. Looks ok. Not perfect but ok.
On your point #2, it appears not all DHs are made the same. Ours, an overseas RH-drive model for Australia, the moulded front wheel well trim is not present.

Despite following all installation instructions pretty much to the letter, we get little rocks/stones (millimetre scale) accumulate between the rock guard and the fender. With vibrations they wedge themselves further and further down and eventually will damage the paint. Which is precisely what these rock guards are meant to prevent

Good to know. I’ll watch for that. My DH has the HP which has wider wheels & tires. Maybe the molding is on the models. Also, may need to consider using some sealer to keep the rocks out. I’m going to look into it when the salt gets off the roads.
