Whipple put in some work vs a car that cost what? 5x as much?

Is this surprising? I’m more surprised the viper actually won the first time given the huge power gap. And the driver misshifted in the second race which gave the Mustang the win. This is where I actually appreciate Edmunds stock vs stock tests way more because if you’re comparing modded cars, it’s just whoever has the deepest bank and whoever can actually drive the car

Well duh. If you're going by resale value it wins by a mile. Much rarer car even if equal performance. Then again the Mustang is probably a lot more comfortable and has modern infotainment.

This is the moron that drove a GT earlier this year and kept trying to run the automatic in manual and was trying to change the gears too late.

I didn't watch the entire video but. Did everyone miss the under hood shot of the Viper where I could clearly see a Nitrous solenoid? I suppose that solenoid could be used for Water/Methanol injection too. My guess is Nitrous. Maybe they mention this somewhere later in the video - It was clearly not mentioned in the beginning.

Sam the Racing driver, as they call him, is actually a pretty capable pedaller. But those guys don't seem to spend the time to learn the ins and outs of the cars they drive.
12.5 - 1/4 is not great. But their timing system isn't state of the art either. Only records to 1 decimal place.
What got me was the UK price of the Mustang, $NZ250,000. I could have mine whippled for around $130,000 all up.

The solenoids have the Nitrous Outlet logo on them.

Not that car but here's a clearer picture
