You could order a brand new 26 DH built for you and get it about 3 months before they give you your 25 DH. And it wonāt have just been sitting for 6 months, getting all stale and sad.

Yeah I figured as much. But I read here in some cases the dealer mightā¦.mightā¦work with you to get a new order for the same money, because they would then have an extra DH to sell later.

Also if youāre wanting the handling package (which Iām assuming you are based on the fact that the current one is āfully built minus recarosā) then production for that wonāt even start until April. All 26 MY dark horses with handling package are gonna get pushed to April per the scheduling updates provided my Long McArthur ford ever Tuesday night on YouTube

Well then, - there you go ā¦! I guess the bigger question is āWhyā Ford canāt get recalls done in a timely manner and āWHYā canāt Ford build cars in a timely manner.

Yikesā¦.I guess depending on your package you order depends on the parts availability. some options push the date back.
Jeez what a friggin mess. Iāve never seen a situation where a car is ready to deliver at the dealer and a stupid recall prevents it from getting in your hands. They cared less about the airbags, and that was much more serious.

Itās just like that only for the DH HP. As far as I know there are no other restrictions or limitations at this time

This recall is more serious than what is being told. Lots of money sitting at dealers They can't be happy. This problem was on the S197 but it was because of drains being plugged. Some was also from the wiper plastic cowl trim not sealing where it attached.
I know it has been said something about some sealant prroblem but who knows. Ford has not always been up front. Not any worse than other manufactures that have a boo boo.

Dealership told me 1/4 of there fleet to be sold standing on the lot canāt be sold because of the recalls. Also, told me Ford is still making them pay the interest on the floor plan for those cars that canāt be sold - now that is just PISSPOOR
