I thought I read somewhere that the blue logo you step over when you open the door is supposed to lght up. Is that the case and how do I set it to light up. Neither side of mine do.
Dark Horse with Handling Package.

Any assistance would be appreciated

They light up in my GT Premium. Colour depends on your ambient lighting settings I believe

TBH, I don't recall specifically looking for them to light up. Guess I'll have to revisit that.

Ya I tried to find more information on it and it seems that they don't light up. No big deal, just thought it would look nice.

I think you need a Dark Horse Premium without Recaro seats for those to light up. I'm guessing you don't have turn signal indicators on your side mirrors either? What about puddle lights?

Ya I have the Recaro seats. Puddle lights work but not too bright. Which is good. And no Turn signals on the mirrors.

What is the link between turn signal mirrors and seat type ?
I can understand the recaro's lack heating/cooling and power adjust but what does that have to do with the mirrors ?
Does the vehicle have indicators elsewhere along the side ?

That's a $64,000 question.

AFAICT, there is absolutely no real correlation and no reason they should not have included them regardless of seat type. But ... that's just the way it is.

On EU models the mirror indicators will be mandatory unless they have another repeater somewhere along the side (eg near the 5.0/DH logo) as there must be a direction indicator repeater within 2.6m of the front of the vehicle.
Maybe they've been saving on parts for EU models.

Do you still have the memory buttons on the door card with the recaro's ?
I'm assuming the electric seat controls are on the seat and not the door card like on most merc's ? (such a useful place to put the controls)

Sorry I misunderstood puddle lights. Yes mine are nice and bright. I do prefer the horse logo personally from my 2014 GT/CS but the horse head is a nice change.

If you have the the 600A package (standard) on Dark Horse...you will NOT have the puddle lights (Dark Horse Emblem shining on the ground beside your door (eminating from your side mirror). You must opt for the $5K optional 700A package to get them...also includes the "welcome lights," Homelink buttons, ventilated seats (non Recaro), more stitching, blue leather inserts, and a few other non-performance items. I opted to decline that...I considered them all non-essential items and told the dealer to have mine come in the 600A package.
