Would appreciate some input. S650 vert on Steeda progressive springs. Love it but ended up lower than expected. Did 1” spacers with the 20x9 optional wheels.

Was assured by the FB groups 1” fits, but rubbed bad in the front…where the plastic bumper meets, rolled a bit but not even close.

Don’t want to trim studs for 20mm (I hear differing stories on whether it’s required). Interested if anyone with a vert has input. Pic is w/rears on and stock front.

I finally took the time to measure. I have a non-PP GT Premium with 9.0” PP rims on all four corners.

Studs are 30mm and the relief hole in the rims is 7mm.

20mm spacer leaves 10mm of stud sticking out, which will not fit in the 7mm relief hole.

25mm spacers leaves 5mm sticking out, which will fit in the 7mm relief hole.

To me, 25 on the front and 20 on the rear would be the way to go, but that ain’t possible without grinding the rear studs down 3mm.

I just tried 25mm spacers on my 2025 GT with PP. I have a set of new take-off 19" gt silver wheels with All season tires. I could not use them as the studs were too long and dug into the back of the reliefs on the wheels. I did some measuring and it will take about 3mm of grinding to make the 25mmm spacers work for me.

i have the 19” silver GT wheels and ran 25mm spacers just fine. Unsure how you can’t. But why you putting those on over the stock PP wheels? The stock PP wheels are wider and have more tire.

I got the tire wheel set because I didn't want to wait 4 months to drive my brand new car (summer only PP tires) I got them because of the all season tires. I am telling everyone that my 2025 wheel studs must be longer than the 2024 studs and not to assume 25mm spacers will fit without grinding on the 2025.

Would be surprised if they were longer. Seems like an odd thing to change.

2024 GT Premium studs = 30mm long
Reliefs in PP rims = 7mm

I bought a set of non PP wheels for winter. there are gouges in the reliefs from studs bottoming and they never seated on the rotor face. They may have changed suppliers. The 30mm may be to the end of the last complete thread. I don't know. Just sharing to save someone else the hassle.

Would love to know the length of your studs to see if it changed. And how deep the hole is in the rim.

I will measure and report back when I pull the wheels to install my splash guards. It will probably be this weekend.
If it’s these rims, it’s not because you have longer studs, it’s because the relief in the back of the rim is only 4mm, at best. 25mm spacers will not work using these rims without taking off 1-2mm of the studs.
