What is with all the recalls?

I don't understand this vehicle is not a complete overhaul they've been making it for 60 years yet there's several recalls already? Come on Ford what's going on and the price keeps going up? I thought they were focusing more on quality which they should have been from day 1.

Are there companies you know of that are not claiming to care about quality?

Recalls are never good because they tarnish a brands reputation for producing a quality product and cost frustration , time & money on both sides manufacturer and consumer…Ford lead the recall list in 2023 and is leading in 2024 so far…

Number of recalls or total number of vehicles affected or recalls per vehicle sold?

All I'm saying is since this vehicle has came out there have been nothing but complaints about it I mean everyday on here someone is saying something is wrong with vehicle. There are currently 2 safety recalls already now the recall of a possible fire in the manual? I ordered 1 last year and cancelled it immediately after all the bad reports on here. I am on the side of the consumer here since I am interested in this vehicle but for the cost of it should there be any immediate issues?

Ok so maybe not all have been fully addressed yet as recalls but a lot of people on here with the new model are complaining a lot about this vehicle noises, mis-aligned body pieces, just alot of complaints so far.

Are you new to Mustangs?

Social media (including forums) will always exaggerate the negative ownership experiences, as folks tend to be more vocal about complaints. You think the Stang is bad you should see the C8 pages. If you decide to order something else, don't get on any discussion forums for it. You're likely going to read just as many complaints there, too. Far more people get online and post about negative experiences compared to those who have positive experiences (and don't get online and post about them). Check the app. go to "service". There you'll find an inconspicuous "Active alert(s)" warning. Very nice, how you would never even think of checking there. I would not have seen it if it weren't for the trending thread about the clutch line catching fire.

Right. So no recalls for me and there's one for the manual transmissions. There's one recall and this is just another dumb drama thread made by a drama queen.

The only complaints I see are from the peanut gallery, very few from owners.
