My '26 GT PP vert is my 3rd Mustang & is obviously packed with technology, etc.

Why is it, every time I start the car, the A/C comes on even though I have not used the A/C in weeks?

Also, on occasion, the sound system switches to SIRIUS XM upon starting regardless of what I was listening to the last time it was driven?

Thanks!

The A/C being enabled is something it does. As I understand, it's partially to ensure the system stays lubricated (if you don't use it, the seals harden, and the fluid escapes) and partially because the car figures you'll want the cool or the dry air.

My fastback will enable the system when running in cooler but humid air (70s for both) from time to time, but doesn't show the telltale light lit. This may be because the car knows better than I do, or because it's putting some air to the windshield...

For the radio issue, and this is an absolute guess, if you use your phone and the connection doesn't happen as quickly as normal, the car is impatient and switches source for you. Maybe because it doesn't want you to listen to nothing..?
