Hi guys I recently had to replace the windshield on my 2024 Mustang GT and I realized that our windshields are a lot more special than in other vehicles so if you need to replace your windshield you should check this video out first and protect yourself:

Thanks for the feedback, I felt it was important to understand the calibration process of getting your windshield replaced, and to also choose the right windshield when getting your windshield replaced because that can also affect resale value, also to be careful about not letting them damage your car.

I am a Youtuber and my goal is to be a strong advocate for the S650 Mustang community especially since in my past I've always been a Camaro guy so my goal is to show just how awesome these cars are to people that don't already know, and for the people that already know, show them ways to take care of their Mustangs and have them running strong for years to come.

I had to replace my windshield on my 24 GT due to the RV mirror coming off in my hand and shattering the glass where it was mounted. The thread is on here somewhere. I went to a very experienced mom and pop glass place that the high end dealers, including Ford, around me use and they installed an official Ford windshield with the sound insulating glass etc. They also calibrated the sensors, gave me a printout and it's been fine ever since. FWIW, the windshield comes with the mirror mount already attached and only the electronics from the old windshield needs to be moved over. The mounts are already in the new windshield. so it's easy. There is no way I would trust this to 3rd party chain companies.

Hi I did break everything down in my earlier response to you I believe, but I'll do it again, the first thing to keep in mind is to not follow behind large vehicles, or vehicles with off road tires as they tend to pick up and spit out rocks and debris on the highway, and the 2nd point would be to know if your state allows you a free window replacement with a 0 deductible as it is in the state of Florida, then I go on to let you know that you can have Safelite either come to your home or you can go to their shop to replace your windshield, I opted for them to come to my home, and then from there to let you know that they will need to re calibrate the camera and sensors on your windshield and they will try to tell you that they need to go drive your car on their own (I've had three technicians all try to convince me to let them drive my cars on their own so they can do this re calibration don't fall for this) I told them no that I will drive and they can do the calibration from the passenger seat which they ended up doing. Then I show you some of the things you will need to look out for when they replace your windshield and I also go over why the Mustang GT windshield is a lot more special than other manufacturers because of the Ford logo and Easter eggs on the Mustang GT windshields, most manufacturers don't have things like that so you have to specifically ask for the OEM glass when getting your windshield replaced. Also yes I would absolutely like to get more people to watch my videos on this amazing car, and hopefully I can help Ford sell a lot more of these vehicles and they will keep making Mustang's with V8's and manual gearboxes instead of going the EV route, do you oppose this?

I also disagree with you I also own a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner and a Mazda CX-90, and I've also owned a 2023 FL5 Honda Civic Type R that I had to replace the windshield on and it did not have any Logo's or Easter eggs on the windshield so I didn't care much about getting an OEM replacement on that car, nether did I on my 2021 Camaro SS 1lE, so the S650 Mustang GT's windshield absolutely is special, Ford also offers a laminated windshield made of two layers of glass with a thin layer of plastic in between as an option which most manufacturers don't do, so once again regrettably I disagree with you Ryan.

Much respect to you for being a content creator, it's a very difficult job and only the people that do it understand how much work goes into it, so major props to you and thanks for sharing your video, it was very well done and I wish you much progress and success.
