Want to put black exhaust tips over the chrome

Hi there. On Saturday I pulled the trigger and traded in my 25' EB base for a 26' premium. I'm LOVING IT!

I want to try and remove chrome as much as possible and next on the list are the chrome exhaust tips. I want to buy black ones, either rectangle shaped or round, doesn't matter. I know the inlet is 2.5 and the outlet needs to be around 4".

Has anyone here added those on? Was it difficult? Anything I should be aware of before buying?

A few posts on here installing slip on tips and also on the M6G forum.. You could do a borla axle back or exhaust cat back with black tips... If you want totally change the look the FP exhaust systems are made by borla and also have the option to come with the DH rear valance with muffles that have the larger tips.. many options just depends on what you want to do. I went with the FP extreme axle back with DH valance paired with a Steeda H pipe.
