Walk away locking

I’m sure many of you know this, but just for giggles, I’ll mention that touching the top of the door handle on the little lock icon also locks the car.

It may be a “no shit Sherlock” thing, but I didn’t know this until I was reading my manual over again…maybe one or two here didn’t know either.

Yep. Been a thing since the 2015 S550.

My 06 GT didn’t even have bluetooth….lol. This avalanche of features is all new to me. It was borderline overwhelming at first.

if i remember right, walk away lock has a bug in it where even if you enable it, if you turn it off in SYNC you can only turn it back on by going through FORScan

So the bug is just the toggle on/off, not the function itself?

I might be missing something then because the options are greyed out for me. Would love to have this.
