What’s the screen [video] showing all I see is a dark grid
That is the transmission pan, just behind the oil pan, pretty much in line with the catalytic converters.

I had a 2015 5.0 and it was super quiet, I put 40,000 miles on it in 3 years and never developed a noise. That's why this one is driving me nuts because it's the new and improved 5.0 and it's noisier than my 2015 😂
I'm getting nervous because my 2015 5.0 is quiet as well lol

I understand the fact that the new 5.0 has a lot more going on than my 2015 but I just feel like some noises aren't natural for any engine let alone a 5.0

I'm sorry but that video sounds more like a tractor then a muscle car....

Sounds to me like something in the exhaust system isn't properly bolted down. It could be a heat shield or a pipe bracket. If that's the case, it isn't going to harm anything other than your nerves. Have them put it on a lift and shake check everything they can get their hands on.

Automatic you say? Almost feels like were working up to the finals in a classic round of name that tune.

Yes it's the 10spd.
I cheated, I looked it up. Browsed through prior threads for clues. 😉

by chance have you been able to notice / replicate the sound with a manual transmission vehicle.

Sounds like to me its the cheap Ford flex pipe, on my Explorer the flex pipe section is a corrugated metal with a metal mesh on the outside, corrugate flex section rattles like crazy. Bad design, not sure if the mustang has the same type of flex section. Found the image below online, not my car.

The section of Flex pipe is very small on the mustang. Not saying it isn't that, it's just a lot of noise for something so small.

That could be it.

It does sound like a very tin like noise. Like very thin metal thats just pinging instead of absorbing the noise.

Sounds like it’s just normal exhaust resonance. Might go away after some more miles on the exhaust. Doesn’t sound like a leak at all.

I'm at 1900 miles now, it's only gotten louder since I first noticed it
