Came on my car already done.

I used my go-to Turtle wax car wash and ended up with mega spots. A long rinse the next day got rid of most of them but not all.

What is the best car wash to use once you have ceramic protection done?

Something without any wax in it. Mr. pink super suds will work, that's what I use.

What you are experiencing here is an incompatibility between the coating and the wax element within the soap. The coating's natural tendency is to reject the wax, which then leads to a streaky/smeary finish. That's not to say all wax's are incompatible with ceramic coatings, but most of the older style products will do this.

I know that's a lot, so I'll keep it simple here in a good-better-best type format.

Good - Meguiar's Hyper Wash
If you want to stay within the Auto-store realm, then this soap is a great value option. Hyper Wash is ultra-ultra concentrated, meaning a little goes a long way in both bucket and foam cannon washing. It has a mild scent, but produces plenty of suds, foams like a champ, is decently slick and offers exceptional cleaning ability compared to most pH neutral soaps on the market. Only available in the larger gallon size Detailer range. It's only major drawback is the rinse off at the end of the wash, it does take a little more time to fully rinse. Available at most auto-stores, Amazon or via Meguiars direct.

Better - Adam's Car Shampoo or Mega Foam
Either of these will have you sorted, they are exceptional soaps that Adam's could probably charge more for. The blue version is a solid performer, but the thicker consistency is a touch harder to pour or measure out. The red version might suggest its only for foam cannons, but like the blue version, it can be used in a bucket or foam cannon. Personally, I like the red one because its runnier consistency is easy to pour, smells better while having similar lubrication and cleaning ability. I'm pretty sure you can get these in an auto-store, or online.

Best - Carpro Reset
Of the near 50 soaps I have tried over the years, Carpro Reset is my benchmark because of how bloody good it is, and it's been my benchmark for many years now. It can be used in a bucket or foamed to perfection in a foam cannon, it's ultra slick, has great cleaning ability and smells divine. For you guys in the US, it's a little pricey but it's ultra concentrated, so you use less of it per application.

Wildcard - Ethos Ceramic Shampoo
This would be the modern equivalent to the wash-n-wax you have been previously using. Of all this style of soap I have tried, this Ethos product was my favorite. It smells nice, is decently slick and leaves the paint with a nice boost in gloss and slickness. I have found these products to best suited to bucket washing, mainly because they don't foam very well. Having said that, this Ethos soap was better in that regard. I'd probably also throw P&S Inspiration Radiance into the mix as well, just make sure its the newest version.
