I agree. Tramlining almost totally gone with PS4S vs Trofeos. Same deal when I switched from PZeros to PS4S on my last car. Michelin is just an all around superior tire, Ford must've gotten a screemin deal with Pirelli to slap them on Mustangs.

Are you still driving with the PS4S now that it is December, or did you switch to winter or all weather tires?

It's also important to find an alignment shop/guy that does track set ups. Many just follow factory specs and don't know the tweaks that can be done to correct problems at speed.

The more negative camber the less tramline especially with real wide tires. And 305's are real wide for a street car. But on a street DD with expensive tires, it's a trade off in terms of inside tire wear.

Im on the stock Trofeos. One thing im gonna check is the tire pressure. I think it's a bit lower from colder temperatures. Think im gonna kick them up a few and see if helps. Previously it was i better i think and the pressures were higher.

I found them to be way too slippery below 50 degrees. Even in California . . .

Your reaction wow is because im still on them in winter? Understood. So far they seems to be fine traction wise. And I've driven on them in 40 degrees here.

Yes, that is why I put the shocked face emoticon. Even worn mine still grip well at 60 degrees. Down at 40, however, I have a hard time turning and accelerating at the same time. I have to drive very, very carefully.

Are you like baby baby babying it?

No not babying it in turns I push it pretty hard. Now under straight line acceleration i do hold back a bit yes, only to save tires a bit, make them last if I can. So far they still have good tread left. Im at almost 4500.
