Top Gear: New Ford Mustang GTD Competition: Corvette ZR1X Killer!

Having been multiple Mustang and Vette owner, plus LOTS of other Euro and US hi-po cars, trying to compare the Mustang (any model) and the Vette (any model) is like comparing hamburgers to hot dogs! Both are similar type items, but completely different execution. Almost all reviews of the GTD against the ZR-models end up similar. Both are great fun, but the GTD is a blunt instrument compared to the Vettes. And anyone who looks at the specs has to see that as intrinsically true. Does that make one "better" than the other? Not at all, just two different approaches with almost nothing in common except the intent: high-level performance. Now, if you take into account prices, well Ford is missing the boat badly on that part! But again, isn't it great we get to debate about these two terrific US performance offerings?

We say the price is missing the boat, but only because, well, I am a poor.

These will have a waiting list and disappointed buyers with money who cannot get one.

That means that the price is not too high.

Blunt instrument? Not according to some highly talented drivers who have driven it in reviews. Such as Verstappen and Chris Harris among others.
We can't ignore the fact that the Vette and GTD are so close in 'Ring times despite the GTD being down 200 or more hp? on a power circuit.
It seems to be quite a sharp instrument.
