Tire & wheel in trunk

On a 2024 Mustang GT has anyone tried to get their mounted tire and wheel into the trunk through the trunk opening? I want to find out if I get a Modern Spare can I get the tire and wheel off my mustang into the trunk through the trunk opening. I know it will be tight. My mustang has brembo brakes.

Be sure to get the proper aftermarket spare to fit over the brembos. I got from Automotive Authority. It is 27"... same as front tire on the PP.
I haven't actually tried to fit one of the road tires in the trunk. I think stock size may fit... but could be a worry if you have wider tires.

If you’re asking whether a full size wheel once removed after a puncture will fit in the trunk, yes it will. My car came with a full size GT PP wheel in the trunk - I guess it’s a legal requirement to sell with a spare wheel here and as Ford doesn’t provide a skinny wheel that means a full size. Shame it’s not a true spare, as it doesn’t match any of my DH rims.

I recently purchased a set of rear rims that come on the factory 2025PP. Also mounted Nitto street Slicks on them. Do you think the rear tire with the factory Michelin P zeros will fit on the front of the car to limp in to the nearest Ford dealer?
