this is the Haters' thread so any love-in posts will get critiqued.
I admit it is fun to get a reaction from the haters lol.

Idc either way since I'll be enjoying my Stang in a couple weeks while they stay inside trolling forums 😂

Again, Ford lags and only follows, never leads.

It had a real chance to do something great by going back to big chonky dials and switches, and fucked it up.

Well, the 911 is going hybrid, so FML.
For many years, Ford was influenced by European car makers (Range Rover; Audi; and Astin Martin) in their design. Thanks William Clay Ford, Jr.

I've been enjoying Mustangs for 12 or so years son. And I'll continue to do just that with my current car.

Which will be faster than yours. And has gauges.

Do you remember with the S550s originally came out? .
Paint peeling off is a frequent problem reported by owners in the first 30,000 miles. Paint on flat surfaces including the hood and roof peels easily when it’s exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. Repainting the affected areas is the only way to fix the problem, costing about $1,000 per panel.

The engine shaking and stalling is mentioned by some owners with the EcoBoost motor. Usually the engine stalling is caused by a problem with the crankcase ventilation valve, or PCV. Changing out the PCV fixes the problem, usually, costing around $400 depending on local labor rates.

Squealing brakes also show up on some Mustang models at around 10,000 miles. If you brake hard, the brakes will wear out faster. Replacing the brake pads costs about $250, while a set of new rotors is around $600. Some aftermarket pads, which are about $100 more, last longer while also providing better braking performance.

Wouldn't you rather wait until the early adopters give the S650 a proper shake down before you put down your hard-earned dollars? The wheels are falling off Ford Broncos and Ford Rangers due to inadequate quality controls at the factory.

1. Frequent doesn't mean all. I'll take my chances.

2. I'm going GT.

3. Brake replacement isn't an exclusive mustang problem. But will go aftermarket on the replacement, than you for the suggestion.

4. I don't see many people complaining about s550 wheels falling off so I'm sure the s650 will be fine.

For every person that likes them, there's probably 3 that don't. M6G is an echo-chamber supporting them, by default.

So......yes. Yes I can say they "fucked it up", but not just because I don't like them.

I'll also add that they're dangerous (as linked to above), and that the new cars will be slower than the 2018-2023 cars.
For every person that doesn't like them, there's probably 3 that do...... see what I did there with your OPINION

The S650 is nothing but a re-styled S550. It's not a new platform. There was no reason to change anything. Since changes have to be made, they should have done changes that made a difference; transmission, suspension, steering, interior materials, SYNC 4, etc.

They could have bench-marked the GT350's driving dynamics, and taken the standard GT there.

But nooooooo........gotta pander to morons that are impressed by shiny screens. And instead of a better driving car, we get an ugly POS with less power and torque.

Pathetic.
Oh, so because I like the new screens I'm now a "moron". FU you douchebag.

only difference between it and the 2022/3s is the shape and location.
The shape and location are exactly what make it suck. That plus the removal of hardware switches for hvac, drive mode and exhaust mode.

And I'd like to thank all those early adopters in North America for the shakedown.

We won't see the S650 down under until Q1 2024.
Initial assembly teething problems and QC issues should be sorted by the time ours get assembled.

Much appreciated NA. :giggle:
