After testing out the RedTiger F17 Elite, I know installed the Viofo A329S.

I like the fact that the Viofo A329S allows me to use the USB port from the rear view mirror to power all 3 camera's.

The RedTiger only works normally if you don't connect the rear camera. It seems that the USB port from the rear view mirror doesn't have enough power to get all 3 camera's working.

For some reason yhe electrostatic sticker from the Viofo comes off the rear window when attaching the rear camera. So I decided to attach the rear canera directly to the window.

I'm happy with the front and rear camera from the Viofo but I miss the interior camera quality from the RedTiger. But hey, this is a dashcam and not a princess mirror to look at yourself

You can also set a timer on the VioFo to shut off after locking the vehicle, but even then, I'm a bit paranoia about my car battery, so I just unplug the USB port.

Any experience with the Fitcamx for the Mustang? I like the stock look without devices hanging from my windshield. I'm not finding much information on this one. Comments? Reviews? Opinions? TIA....

Stange no dark horse as that is designed for track use so I would have thought a dash cam would make total sense.

i really hope the USB port for a dash cam is on the mirror of the DH that makes things very simplfied.

now what about a rear facing camera?

Pardon me if this sounds stupid but I have spent far to many years reading IBM and other manuals looking for the bit of information I needed to make my software work correctly. It appears the USB port come with the premium package. It's not really spelled out that it doesn't come with the premium dark horse model as they only mentions dark horse. I hope it will be on my dark horse because over the years I have had so many close calls from people cutting in front of me. Fortunately I was awake and the mustang braking prevented me from needing expensive body work. It would be nice to get pictures of the one that finally gets me. I have been nailed multiple times from the rear but normally there isn't much to debate when that happens.

My 2024 Dark Horse appears to have the USB port between the mirror and the windshield. I have the premium package (701a?)

BTW, Blackvue sucks... Im pretty sure it overheated in the hot sun and now it wont power on anymore

Wouldn't it make sense to get a model with a proven track record of being able to tolerate a high cabin temperature?

What model would that be? And blackvue has no known problem with high temps.

I am looking into the Viofo A329TC 3 channel, which has the Telephoto front and the interior Fisheye. My thought here is that in the Mustang the interior fisheye may pick up enough out of the rear window especially given that my rear window is tinted. Would also save a bunch of wiring.
