Hi all,

I want to thank the forum for all the helpful information and for keeping me busy over the last 6 months. I have worked on tons of cars since I was a little kid, and when my brother and I finished his twin turbo terminator (built, still needs to go to HPP), I decided it was time to continue the legacy and order a stang. I ordered a Mustang Dark Horse with the HP, AP, Tremec, and Recaros in Blue Ember. This was my first time ordering a new car and everyone has been incredibly helpful and kind. My car just switched from built to order confirmed, and as I have seen from this group, it means the car should be here relatively soon. Because I am incredibly impatient, does anyone know how long it took their car to get from this status to delivered? Preferably anyone close to Texas... but all responses are welcome 🙃

I ordered my dark horse March 27 and picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I suspect if your dealer has an allocation, that time should be shorter because the new mustang wasn't in production at the time of my order and there was about a month were production stopped due to some problem producing the cars. You should be getting your vin shortly and when you do, click on the link. It will provide you with a much more accurate guess than I am.

He already has a vin and the car status showed built on the tracker. He is asking about the way the tracker goes from built to confirmed then back. When this has happened to most forum members, most cars show up very shortly afterwards at the dealer.

Oh, in that case, mine did the same thing and it would probably be 2-3 weeks to delivery. Stuff shipped from the east by rail is a little slow getting to phoenix because in the early days, Phoenix was considered a rail spur. Phoenix was small and out of the way because the path was blocked by mountains so the main line was across the southern end of the state.
