When I got out yesterday, I noticed that I would pop the door, move my radar detector to the console glovebox, and grab a couple things off the seat -- plenty of time for the music to stop.

I have had the same issue since the most recent update. Irritating for sure! This is one of the many bugs the infotainment has but I still love my car!

It's not a big deal, but I too would prefer that my music would stop immediately when I open the door. I don't want to listen to other people's music, even five seconds of some genres are irritating to me, and I assume that those same people don't want to have to listen to my music any more than I want to have to listen to theirs. The only reason it isn't a big deal is that I'm usually parking outside of earshot of anyone else to avoid door dings. However, in some parking situations, other people are unavoidable. Because its a somewhat infrequent situation, I have to remember to turn the volume way down or turn it off before opening the door and then take the extra step to turn it back on or adjust the volume when I start the car again. It's basically just created an extra step for me. Ford programmers, if you are monitoring......
