Hey, I was just wondering if anybody has swapped their base seats to the premium seats? I love the idea of having ventilated seats and was just curious if anybody has pulled it off yet and if it was plug and play obviously with the addition of changing some lines in forscan to get the ventilated seat option to show on the screen. Thanks in advance

Ventilated seats require ducting with the rest of the HVAC system, I think heated seats have heaters built in, but cooled seats use the cars AC.

Ahhh good to know, so it would be harder to pull that off. I wonder if it would be possible to even to put the ducting in on the base model. Like if it was just plugged off or if you’d have to run a whole new section. I’m gonna have to look at the diagrams from ford. I appreciate your response

Are you sure the seats have ducting with the A/C system? I’ve removed my premium seats and it was just two electrical plugs. There was no ducting connection.

Good to know, if that’s the case it should be relatively easy to do as long as the connections are the same, did you possibly take a photo when you took them out?

I didn’t take a picture, but the seats are sitting in my shop, and I can get a photo of the connection when I get home Friday.
