Is this watched at all outside the Antipodes? It's basically a tightly controlled formula with power (600hp I believe), weight limits etc.

Is this watched at all outside the Antipodes? It's basically a tightly controlled formula with power (600hp I believe), weight limits etc.

There is a minor amount of interest globally. A couple of Japanese fans flew to Sydney for the debut of the new Toyota Supra Supercar. F1 driver Alex Albon is a bit of a fan.

Anyway, it looks like Ford is in for a great year in this year's Supercar championship.

Yep, a Supra won one race at Taupo, first time in the series and and driven by a Kiwi. But there's an awful lot of blue at the top of the standings.
