Strut tower brace plate

I just took delivery of my 24 PP. The strut brace does not have a plate/label.

I took deliver of my 25 PP back in March. Same on mine, no plate and label.

I’m about to buy the Ford Performance Brace from either CJ or AM, and both pics show the Ford Performance plate on it. trying to choose between that and the Steeda. Shame I am forced to buy the Ford Performance brace as the 2 part set when I only need the center brace. For some reason the GT did come with the angled brace in place, as confirmed by the installation video.

The Ford brace is just stamped steel, but according to reviews it does the trick. I do like genuine Ford parts. At least I feel the fit isn’t an issue.

I have a 2024 GT without the Performance Pack.
I purchased the Ford Performance two piece Strut Brace with the Ford Performance tag on the Center.
The two pieces are heavy steel.
The Cowl Brace that comes stock near the window wipers are made of Durable Plastic. But no ware as strong as Steel.
The two pieces tie the Front End of your Mustang together. They work in tandem.
You can definitely tell the difference when driving on a Road with Curves.
The steering seems tighter.
Ford Parts Dept. should be able to give you a discount on the Strut.
Mine was $252.00 with tax & around $125 with tax to install at my Ford Service Dept.
I believe it’s worth the cost.

Apparently on a GT with 20” wheels as I have, the steel cowl brace is already there. So even though I ordered the Ford Perf. tower strut brace, it comes bundled with the cowl brace which I don’t need. But at American Muscle, it was only $218 plus tax/ Free Shipping.

I did a lot of research and found out if your GT has 20” wheels, they install the steel cowl brace at the factory…even if you didn’t order the PP.

Here’s a pic of my engine bay as it stands now. You can see the already factory installed steel cowl brace. That saves me some time….lol.

Since I only have to install the tower brace, should be a 10 minute install in my garage. I’m looking forward to the cool look and improved handling feel!

Apparently if you got your tower brace from the factory they didn’t include a plate…weird.

But if you order it after the fact, it has a Ford Performance plate on it. The one I just ordered does.

That said, you can order plates to go on it.
