Can the plastic engine cover be taken off with the STB installed?

Looks good! When you did the install was your Mustang sitting on it's wheels? Or did you have the front end lifted/jacked to take the load off the front suspension? TY!

It was on its wheels on the garage floor.

I am not sure either but apparently you can’t get to one of the spark plugs with it on and the hardware is single use according to ford so that’s something to plan for when the time comes

Good to know. The plugs should last me a long time and purchasing 4 nuts is not a big deal as long as you plan it in advance. I have not ever pulled the plastic cover and only have 600 miles on my GT.

Instructions for installing mine didn't say to jack the car it was from Steeda, very easy install

The 6 page instructions from Ford Racing did not say to jack the car up and let the wheels hang during the install on mine.

If anything like the 2015-2023, then yes, it was pretty easily removed.

Same as the engine cover... if anything like the 2015-2023 then I was able to change all eight spark plugs with no issues at all.
