Our 2024 HPDE Mustang exceeded all of our expectations this past weekend at Sebring! We achieved a lap time of 2:23 thanks to some additional Steeda upgrades and a set of wheels and tires. That is a 7-second improvement over our stock lap time! Thanks to Ford Motor Company for engineering such a great platform, we were able to chase down and pass cars on the track that were double the MSRP of the Mustang GT!

The stock Mustang GT Performance Pack tires and wheels were used in both the base line testing and the Steeda Dual rate test. Which is a Pirelli P-Zero Summer tire.

but a 7 second improvment was done with a far far more superior tire and with a much wider foot print?

would be interesting to see a stock PP1 with those A052 and wider wheels alone.

I have those same tires on my car and know for a fact how fast they are on a 1-2 lap time attack

NOT $10K - the 2 second lap improvement was due to modest suspension upgrades - consistent with what a lot of customers do with their Mustang after purchase:

Dual Rate Springs, Shocks/Struts, Stop the Hop Kit, Camber plates --- the 7 second improvement included coil-overs,etc.
