@tj@steeda

I decided to order from Steeda because they had 25mm and 20mm versions (in case I wanted to go thinner on the rear).

$109.95 a pair: Steeda 555-6611 Mustang/Explorer 1" Hubcentric Billet Aluminum Wheel Spacer - Pair (15-24)

But they shipped me these:

$32.58 each: Ford Mustang 5x4.50 [1.00 Thick] Hub Centric Wheel Spacer Mustang 2015-2017

Both are forged 6061 T6 Aluminum, but I could buy two directly from Coyote Premium Wheel Accessories for much less.

Why/how would Steeda send me another brand?? Strange.

Mistake? Contact Steeda to find out why.
I hope so… but not a typical mistake, like sending 20mm instead of 25mm. Not sure why they would have another brand stocked. I did email them with the pics.

Mistake happens. Just contact them and wait for the reason. We can't answer this question.

Yep, yep! My original message was directed at @tj@steeda , so hopefully he will see this. :)

I emailed them, sent pictures of what I received, and here is the reply:

"Thank you so very much for the pictures. I ran them up to our plant manager, our parts manager, and our lead tech, Jamie. After reviewing the photographs and that item number, they assured me that this is indeed our wheel spacer. Apparently, from time to time, we source these directly from them.
They have also said you can install it confidently, and I have included the installation instructions for you. Please let me know if you may need anything else from me or if you have any other questions."

So I order $110 spacers from Steeda and they send me spacers (that I could order directly from the other company for $65) and pass them off as their own.

Oh, I have a pair of 25mm Eibach wheel spacers for sale if anybody wants them: $110

they don't manufacture every part they sell and they don't have the lowest price on every part they sell

maybe they will price match if you ask?

The point is that they passed them off as Steeda spacers. This invoice has a Steeda part number.

Oh, they will price match, or I'll return them... then I'll order them from CPWA for $65. I mean, who wouldn't?

This is just uncool to do...

Still waiting to hear back on whether or not they will refund me the difference on this.

So, Steeda agreed to refund the difference to me, so all's well that ends well.

But... a PSA for all of you:

If you want Steeda spacers, give them a call or email them before you order to make sure you will actually get Steeda spacers:

Steeda 555-6611 Mustang/Explorer 1" Hubcentric Billet Aluminum Wheel Spacer - Pair (15-24)

If you want basically the same spacer (Hubcentric, Forged 6061 T6 Aluminum, and all that good stuff), then you can save some money here:

Ford Mustang 5x4.50 [1.00 Thick] Hub Centric Wheel Spacer Mustang 2015-2017

I only ordered one pair so I could see what they looked like on one side of the car and so I could decide if I wanted to go with 20mm on the rear. Either way, I will be ordering my 2nd pair directly from Coyote Premium Wheel Accessories.

I should have opened my spacer box and looked at mine back when I ordered my squared trident combo in October for autocross this year. I also paid the $45 Steeda tax for the less expensive coyote accessories spacers.
