Stainless Brakes lines

I'm having a hell of a time finding stainless brake lines. Anyone been successful?

I don’t think the anyone has thought about upgrading the brakes. Why stainless lines?

This will be a track car. Other than giving a much firmer and consistent pedal, rubber lines should never be trusted at the limits.

I was under the impression all dark horses and upgraded gts (performance pack) come with braided lines.

I just cleaned and ceramic coated my wheels and calipers this weekend (performance package brakes really dust). I didn't see stainless or braided lines on my car. Looked like regular lines to me.

I had read that somewhere too... though being a mass-produced car, it is unlikely to be the shiny exposed braided stainless-steel lines that come to mind, but they are probably more like hydraulic lines, steel braid with a jacket.

Hydraulics are still used at the brake caliper...

This is more common than people think.

I replaced the brake lines on my 335i at around 75k miles with stainless steel aftermarket brake lines. I cut the factory brake lines just to see the cross section and I can confirm that they are steel braid with a jacket. Had I known that, I would have probably just replaced the factory brake lines with factory parts.
