So after nearly a year, I just have found out last washing, that the bottoms of the car’s ppf like doors and lower parts are not repelling water any more like other top surfaces still do. Despite using Gyeon Spray ceramic solution. I have decided I will do proper ceramic coating by my self by using Gyeon Q2 ppf. I will do iron removal prior coating, right?

The spray seems not lasting long enough…
How often are you doing the spray? I've done mine 4 times since August of 2024 and haven't noticed any problems. I also don't drive my car in wet weather! For the most part, I'm just putting ceramic coating on top of ceramic coating. If you are driving in rainy weather, I imagine YMWV! Glenn

Can you elaborate on “too much product” & topper product

?
What I meant was that if you are applying a cermaic spray or spray wax after EVERY wash, and those washes are frequent you can develop a build up of product that starts making the surface hard to clean and the products stop working effectively. Using too much product at one time or too frequently is never a good thing.

A topper product is ceramic or finishing spray that you put ontop of a treated surface like PPF.
