So I live where there is a lot of sand and I was wondering what people are using to protect the sill plates? I ordered some Xpel stuff but is there something better?
TIA!

Probably not, that's some good stuff, very durable.

If you get a roll of the "Stealth" version, very transparent. I had this done in 2009 on a mustang, front of car, hood and mirrors to prevent dings from rock throws etc., ...worked great. You had to look very close to see the seam.

I had my car completely done in XPEL Fusion Ultimate including the door sills and a second sacrificial layer in the rocker panels ahead of the rear wheels. I think that's the best we can do in the door sills.
