I assume “3” means what you want the heat to be, not what it is. I set it to 3 . When I return to the display it is down to 2 . It makes no different if I set it on the seat icon or the column, moving the circle up to 3 . I want it to stay on 3

I guess I never noticed the heated seats turning themselves down in my Lincoln, and don't use them in the Mustang since it's not driven in the winter; but the Lincoln would turn them off entirely after about 90 minutes.

what its set to is what it's going to do. and by tapping on it to bring it up, you're also adjusting the strength. bit of a stupid design. what @Yamazuki is experiencing is called auto climate seats, and you can activate them using FORScan in the APIM and HVAC. but there is another timeout feature where after some amount of time (i forgot how long) it just shuts off the seat heating/ventilation until you turn it back on

agree with @roket it is a little weird that when you touch the screen it lowers to next level. but it should have 1, 2 or 3 bars (red or blue for heat or AC) that say what the temp is set to. (best pic I could find quickly) you see 1 red and 2 grays heat set to one.

Originally set my seats to 3 on heat. Now every time I remote start the seats are on 3. My old Escape always started with the seat heaters off. It must be in the presets now.

I'll check it out. I only have about 340 miles on the car with it being winter. It was 61° here yesterday and I had it out to get a Whipple and cat back quote.

My seats always stay on whatever I set them too. I heated seats never go above two and the seats are normally on one in the winter and three in the summer. I think on three you can probably cook meat! Glenn
