I would like to have the driver seat two or three inches higher at it's highest adjustment. Some kind of spacer maybe ?
Has anyone done this?

That’s funny, because I wish I could get mine a few inches lower. Maybe I can give you a couple inches from my seat. :cwl:

Seriously though I would like to make this change. would I be better off going to a dealership or an independent Body Shop? Iff it can be done.

At the dealership level, I cannot imagine that anyone would modify seat mounting points for safety reasons. I've declined that same request over the years as we can't accept the liability. Raising or lowering the mounting point past the factory specs will also affect the way the seatbelts and airbags function.

I had a friend in high school with a 1970’s Camaro. She was 4’10” tall and sat on a phone book. I know that doesn’t help the ask here, but my wife has lodged a similar complaint - in her bill of complaints against Black Betty; manual Recaro seats, seat belt is a PITA, and it doesn’t raise high enough for her because she’s under-tall.

My old S550, my wife had to sit on a booster seat. Thankfully, the S650 seats come up high enough for her to see over the dash, though that may be specific to the Premium Convertible, as we didn't test the coupes. Recaros were a no-go for the reasons you've mentioned, she'd be basically sitting in the footwell.
